Our Mission Statement

Since 1973 the Saginaw County Commission on Aging has provided many programs and services to meet the needs of older adults. Our goal is to help older adults to continue living independently in their own homes. We also offer unlimited volunteer opportunities for older adults who desire to stay active and involved in the community.

Closures

Commission on Aging will be closed Friday, March 27th for an all-staff training day.

Commission on Aging follows the county holiday schedule for closures: County of Saginaw, MI - County Holidays.

Our agency will, during winter storms and severe weather, report closings on three news stations (WNEM5, ABC12, NBC).

Speak at a Senior Center

Our 11 senior centers across the county are great places to share helpful information and local resources with older adults. To learn more or see if you qualify, email acountegan@saginawcountymi.gov

Become an Event Vendor

COA hosts several annual events where vendors can connect with local seniors and share valuable resources. For details and a vendor application, email kbrenner@saginawcountymi.gov
